Boeing Selects New Breed to Provide Logistics Support for 787 Dreamliner Production

HIGH POINT, NC - February 23, 2006

New Breed Logistics, Inc., based in High Point, North Carolina, announced today that it has been selected by The Boeing Company to provide logistics support for final assembly of the world's best-selling new commercial aircraft, Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. The 787 will be assembled at Boeing's facility in Everett, Wash. New Breed was selected as the provider for the 787 program based on the company's track record of performance, cost reduction, flexibility, and technology-focused solutions.

Under this contract, New Breed will receive, store, provide inventory control, kit, package, distribute, and transport 787 parts, tools, and supplies to designated locations within Boeing's facility. The New Breed logistics plan will establish a 100,000+ square foot facility in close proximity to the Boeing facility in Everett. Staffing plans for the New Breed support facility will be finalized over the next three months. The 787 is scheduled to enter commercial service in 2008.

About Boeing 787 Dreamliner

The 787 is a family of three super-efficient airplanes that will provide passengers with a better flying experience. The airplanes will feature significant improvements in passenger amenities including cleaner air, bigger windows, a lower cabin altitude and higher humidity. Detailed design of the 787 is underway with production scheduled to start in 2006. First flight is planned for 2007 with deliveries beginning in 2008.
