NEW BREED LOGISTICS’ OPERATION RECEIVES AS9120 QUALITY CERTIFICATION

New Breed Logistics, Inc., headquartered in High Point, North Carolina, announced today that one of its Atlanta, GA facilities received the Aerospace Standard AS9120 and International Standards Organization ISO9001 Quality Management Program certifications.

AS9120 certification encompasses the current version of ISO9001, and includes additional requirements specific to the Aerospace industry. ISO9001 certification is an internationally recognized indicator that an organization takes a comprehensive, quality-based approach to its services and product offerings.

New Breed first achieved ISO9001 certification in 1995 for its Greensboro, NC distribution center operations. New Breed expanded the certification to include its central logistics management functions that serve all New Breed clients. These functions include order and inventory management, transportation management, and logistics consulting services. New Breed has since achieved certification for all its major operations.

“This certification recognizes the global dedication to quality that New Breed practices in its daily business operations” commented Mike Murphy, New Breed’s Quality Director.

New Breed’s dedication to certifying all of its major operations is part of its continuous effort to provide the highest level of quality services to their clients, including its growing Aerospace business unit. It is an investment in further improving overall performance and client satisfaction for new and existing customers. “We feel it is a reflection of New Breed’s approach to business – we consistently exceed quality standards and expectations by providing levels of quality and service that are higher than required by our clients,” concluded Murphy.
