AVAYA PARTNERS WITH NEW BREED LOGISTICS FOR DISTRIBUTION SERVICES

HIGH POINT, NC — January 13, 2009 – New Breed Logistics, Inc., headquartered in High Point, North Carolina, has signed a multi-year contract with Avaya Inc., to operate a distribution center located in Memphis, TN. Avaya is a leading global provider of business communications equipment, systems and services focused on enhancing business networks.

New Breed was selected to support Avaya’s long term business requirements and market place success by enhancing customer service and inventory management. The operation is located within a 500,000 square foot facility leased by New Breed.

Under this contract, New Breed provides warehousing, distribution and returns processing services, which include receiving, inspection, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping to both domestic and international locations. The program also provides aftermarket support for installed equipment.

New Breed’s web-based logistics systems provide Avaya with an enhanced level of visibility and control over its supply chain. “New Breed’s focus on process execution, combined with their ability to provide robust logistics technology solutions, made them the provider of choice for our distribution requirements” said John Gabel, Director of Global Logistics for Avaya, “. . . and their implementation team delivered on the promise of a seamless transition of operations.”
